These are some of our more commonly asked questions.  Feel free to Contact Us if you have any additional questions we could help you with!

How much do your films cost?

Price depends on video format and size of order.

What formats do you have?

All video formats, NTSC or PAL including MP2 and MPEG-4. We also sell DVD-Rs.

What makes a film “public domain”?

The film’s copyright registration was not renewed after its initial 28 years of copyright protection. Or, the film was never registered at all.

What is the quality of your films?

All titles are “high broadcast quality”, meaning Rank transferred from 16mm and 35mm prints. All materials are dubbed from Betacam masters.

How does your company work?

You buy the materials from us. We do not “rent” tapes.

What am I allowed to do with the materials?

Anything you want. You cannot, however, lift the music and use that by itself in another production; or use a recognizable face when advertising a product.

How long does it take to deliver once we order?

One or two days, via FEDEX, depending on the size of your order.

Do you sell 16mm or 35mm prints?

No. Only videos or DVDs.

Do you guarantee the quality of your materials?

Yes. If you are dissatisfied with the quality of any tape, we will replace it immediately, or refund your money.

Why should we buy from you?

All our materials are very high quality. Some companies will sell dubs from 3/4″ or even VHS. Do not settle for inferior materials just because the price is low. You get what you pay for.

Do you provide screeners?

Yes, for an additional cost.

Do you do research?

No. We will, however, guide you to those programs that clearly fit your needs. Also, please use our online SEARCH feature.

Can you obtain a title if it’s not already in your library?

We will try, although it may take a week or two.

How about volume discounts?

If you speak very loudly–no–you will not get a discount. But if you order “in volume”, we will discount the price.

What’s the meaning of life?

The sequence of mental and physical experiences that make up the existence of an individual.

What’s a viscount?

A member of the British peerage ranking below an earl and above a baron.
